I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Peggy Vetter, a licensed midwife based in Oceanside and serving families throughout North County San Diego. With nearly two decades of experience supporting birthing families, I offer warm, individualized care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
My approach is rooted in respect, safety, evidence-based care, and deep trust in the birthing process. Whether this is your first baby or you’re growing your family again, you deserve attentive and personalized support.

For families welcoming their little ones at home or in the hospital, Nine Moonbeams offers à la carte postpartum services that provide tailored support from birth through the first six weeks. We are here to help you transition into parenthood with confidence and ease, providing the care you need when you need it most.
Prenatal Supplemental Care
At Nine Moonbeams Midwifery, we offer prenatal supplemental care that works alongside your existing OB-GYN schedule, providing added support, education, and continuity throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey. If you’re traveling and need an appointment while away, we’re here for you. We also offer virtual meetings for added flexibility and support. Please reach out anytime for more details.
Childbirth Classes — From Natural Wisdom to Practical Prep
At Nine Moonbeams Midwifery, our childbirth classes are designed to meet you where you are — whether you're seeking a deeply rooted, holistic approach through our Natural Path Childbirth Class or a focused, practical option with our 5-Hour Birth Prep Class . Both classes are grounded in the Lamaze 6 Healthy Birth Practices and are led by a licensed midwife and certified doula. You'll gain the tools, confidence, and support you need to approach birth with clarity and calm — in a setting that honors your choices and nurtures your experience.
